Town Twinning

Initiated by Newark Town Council, the Twinning Association was formed in 1983. It has established twinning links with Emmendingen in Germany and St Cyr sur Loire in France; also friendship links with Mielec in Poland, and sister city links with other Newarks around the world.

Many of the gifts which have been received through these links are in the collection of Newark Town Treasures & Art Gallery.
