Schools and Families

Newark Town Hall Museum offers a range of activities related to our collections for our younger visitors whether they come to us through a school visit or with their family.
Families visit free - no need to book.

Town Hall Museum School Visits

School group visit
Structured KS1 and KS2 hands-on events for school groups.
Costs £65 per session although some events are free.
Booking essential.

A variety of stimulating, cross curricular education programmes are on offer in the historic Town Hall.  These are linked into the National Curriculum but can be adapted if required.   All events are designed in a fun, hands-on way.  Sessions can be created to suit pupils' requirements.

The museum is housed in the beautiful Grade 1 listed building designed by John Carr of York in 1776.
